ones persons garbage is another's treasure
alright, maybe not too extreme as treasure but i'm extremely happy with my purchases equalling $6! SEXYYYYit all started at a church garage sale. yesterday for fellowship a bunch of us spent hours sorting through the bags and boxfuls of clothes, housewares, travel bags, electronics, computers, office supplies, games, toys, etcetc. which was so surprisingly tiring and frustrating..went home a bit annoyed. but anyways woke up at 8 30 today to go early to help out. we got there an hour before the sale started but there were already people milling around the place. at about 11 it was CRAZY. most of the first hour was spent watching the crazy kleptomanic elderly couple. in a way, it's sweet, they're partners in crime. but the fact that they were ripping US of was SO not. i guess when i think about it, it's kind of funny considering how like 10 people were "discreetly" watching them. news spreads fast. anyways, happy ending, we caught them and they ended up paying what they owed. which wasnt much since you could bargain with the cashiers, and they're not very hard to bargain with. so at the end of the day, what was i able to scrounge up?
- (1) amanda marshall cd
- (1) joey mcintyre cd

- (1) janet jackson cd which i exchanged for a turquoise stained glass necklace
am i cool or WHAT?! hahaha..i think the purchases i'm most satisfied with are the cds. i bought them unsure of who they really were but their lyrics are pretty good. after this post i'm hiding in my room and indulging in my one dollar buys!
i'm very very slightly disappointed because of some other things that i would have gotten from today but in the end..couldn't. for one, yotin's gap nailpolish, that had the most adorable shades; it was really pretty. another being, brent's tigger pillow which is super cute and would have cost like $20-$30 at smart maple...but it was only a DOLLAR here. (and its clean cuz it used to be iris') and chris' bike which was SO smooth..it's like quality bike man, for only $5. mannn. oh yeah, and another book that i dont really remember the name of..but the cover looked pretty good, and so did the summary..but obviously someone else bought it. and a winnie the pooh picture frame..i should have listened to leslie..but it was only until after it was sold that i decided i kind of really liked it.
oh well, nonetheless, today was so awesome, even though we didnt get to go to wonderland after. ate like 4 hot dogs, (brents double dog = 2) but yeah, we had such a success it was really, wicked good
anyways, time to "renovate" my room while "spinning my traxxx" yes i feel gangster, don't ruin this for me
ta-taa~
