<3 weekend

to my dearests; i love you and all your individualities and the way theyre able to fit together perfectly. i see a bright future for this bass-playing, floodpants and one sleeved shirts wearing housewife driving off into the sunset while taking pictures.

happy birthday daddy :)

i hope the JESUS IN THE CITY parade went well. i'm sure it did, sorry that i couldnt come, i hope theres more people volunteering than the four people that were there when roachie called =/

alright, i was listening to a random chinese song i had in my playlist, and it's so adorable, so i'm gonna try my best to translate it for you:

girl: do you know what it's like to be in love?
guy: of course! when you don't see her, you heart feels troubled, and when you see her you start to get excited. and when you talk to her, even if there's a/c, you feel warm, and you want to invite her to go somewhere with you, but after you say hello, you don't know how to say it.
girl: silly, these are only the first stages, when you really love someone, its not like that.
guy: then whats it like?
girl: when you love someone, you'll want to give them the best of whatever you have, if you read a really good book, you'll buy another one, to give to her to read when shes bored, if you eat a really good cheesecake, you'll remember the taste so that when she has time, you'll make it for her, youre in a theatre watching a really good movie, but halfway you leave because you want to watch the end with her
guy: your boyfriends pretty lucky to have you then
girl: we broke up half a year ago
guy: (narrating): there was a girl who taught me what its like to love someone, she said the more you love someone the more you lose yourself, she also said she doesnt want to love anyone else because she doesnt want to end up with nothing again. so i told her, i promise you your next relationship will be happy and won't leave you disappointed. when she heard that, she gave me a doubtful look and asked why. i took a deep breath and told her, "because, i fell in love with you."

fellowship - initiation for the grade 7s; who knew there was such a price. we took them on a hike blindfolded to a nearby building and told them to sit on the ground and chant an oath and then everyone ran back to the church leaving them sitting there, blindfolded, in complete silence. theyre such good kids though, they listend to us and stayed there until finally dru had to get them back. and then they came running back with mosquito bites all over their body. oops.
anyways, the door was left open so there were like hundreds of mosquitos flying around and then me, ninky, ml, and hayley ended up running around the foyer killing mosquitos. hella fun :) honestly, i think i killed like 50 mosquitos that night. i swear, its more fun than cs, especially if you go on a crazy killing spree with a broom. oh yeah, my guitar stage is over and im admitting defeat. its really quite sad
